Expense Manager is an application for your Nokia E73 which can be used for managing and keeping track of expenses on your mobile phone, This is a must have app if your a expense freak!

Expense Manager offers many features to the user including abilities to:

  • Add new expense details under up to 25 categories.
  • Classify entries on the basis of ‘Purpose of transaction’, ‘Mode of payment’ & ‘Currency’.
  • Optional password protection for logging into the application.
  • Modify the category, purpose, mode and currency titles to suit individual requirements.
  • View monthly data in a single page.
  • Generate reports for a user defined range of dates.
  • Generate reports for particular category, purpose, mode, currency only.
  • Export data to the memory card in ‘csv’ (comma separated values) format so that the expense data can be viewed/edited on any of the popular spreadsheet softwares.*
  • Option to define monthly expense limit. The user will get an alert if his total expenses for a month have exceeded the limit.

Nokia E73 S60 app review: KD Player

KD Player is a music player for mobile phones that supports all audio formats. The program can easily replace your standard player, and is constantly updated with new skins.

In addition to the standard playback functions (Play, volume, rewinding, mixing repeat) the program has the following features:

1. Support for ID3 tags;
2. Change application interface via skin;
3. The definition of bit rate;
4. Creating, editing of M3U playlists;
5. Display Album Art (album covers) during playback (load can be carried out from ID3v2 tags or from the file “Folder.jpg, Cover.jpg” lying in a folder with music);
6. Visualization;
7. The presence of a musical library, with the possibility of creating and modifying playlists;
8. Ability to specify folders to be scanned for the presence of music files (support sub);
9. The ability to work in the background (on phones Sony Ericsson, Nokia S60, UIQ3)

My Location (beta)
Google Maps for mobile features My Location, a service that allows you to retrieve your current location without the need for GPS. My Location approximates your current location on the map, usually within 1000 meters, by recognizing information broadcast from mobile towers, and in some cases Wi-Fi signals, near you. Google Maps for mobile also uses built-in GPS, or can link to a Bluetooth GPS sensor to more accurately pinpoint your location.

New! Google Latitude
Latitude lets you see your friends’ locations and status messages. Share your location and status with select friends. Get started by selecting “Join Latitude” in the menu, or learn more and get the Latitude iGoogle gadget at google.com/latitude. Latitude is availabe on Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Windows Mobile, and BlackBerry phones. Unfortunately it is not available for other Java-enabled phones.

Map and satellite views
Google Maps provides both map and satellite views of an area. The user interface feels like Google Maps does on the desktop. You can scroll in a direction to see more of the map, or zoom in and out using shortcut keys.

Driving directions
Google Maps makes it easy to get turn-by-turn driving directions. Thanks to the My Location feature, you do not even have to enter your starting point.

Transit directions
Check bus and subway schedules, determine what transfers you need to make, and plan adventures in more than 50 cities around the world.

Business listings
Google’s local search engine allows you to search for businesses by name (e.g. “Starbucks”), or by type (e.g. “coffee”). View store hours and ratings, and then dial the business you’re interested in with a single click. Thanks to My Location, it’s easy to find nearby businesses without even having to enter your current location.

Street View
View street level imagery of addresses, businesses, and turns in directions in much of the US, Australia, Japan, and parts of Europe.

Traffic
Google Maps will turn highways green, yellow, or red, based on real-time traffic data.

Favorites
Bookmark your favorite places so that you can easily return to them on the map.
